Movement Instruction

How you move is just as important as how much you move.

If you have pain and injuries that just don’t seem to go away, it is important to look at the way you are moving. Chronic symptoms are rarely just the fault of the site of pain; their causes are usually more global. They might be a result of:

  • Muscle imbalances
  • Short muscles
  • Restricted soft-tissue
  • Weak or inactive muscles
  • Postural habits
  • Uneven body use

Learn to move better

I teach corrective exercise one-to-one, in groups, in person or over Skype. These exercises are designed to help you move with greater awareness, to increase strength and flexibility, and to improve mobility and stability. They are simple and can be modified for any ability level.
